Family and Group Therapy
Family Therapy
I provide weekly family therapy for adult children, siblings, parents, and extended family members who might be seeking to better understand their family dynamics, history, and communication. This type of therapy can be particularly useful for working through impasses or transitions that impact multiple family members. I seek to incorporate ages, cultural backgrounds, race, gender, sexuality, religion, and professional identities into these sessions so I can learn to step into every member’s experience within the family system.
If you feel that you or your family might benefit from family therapy sessions, feel free to contact me to get more information.
Group Therapy
I offer ongoing, weekly process groups for adults over the age of 18. Since the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic, interpersonal connection has been a point of focus for many who have taken time to examine their mental health. Within my process groups, I work with clients struggling to establish and maintain consistently gratifying relationships. Typical concerns that are addressed include, but are not limited to, isolation, anxiety, social anxiety, low self-esteem, depression, and life transitions.
Group therapy can be a rich space to receive honest and authentic feedback about how you might be entering into your relationships. Through exploratory and dynamic sessions, my group can help make significant improvements in your relationships and reach your ultimate potential as a partner, friend, child, sibling, or coworker.
If you are interested in joining one of my process groups or have questions about group therapy, feel free to contact me. I would be more than happy to discuss how a process group might be beneficial for you.
