My office is located at 900 Haddon Avenue, Collingswood, New Jersey 08108. It is local to Philadelphia and easily accessible by either car or PATCO. Currently, I am offering both in-person and virtual teletherapy sessions.

The first step is to fill out the contact box here. I will respond to you as soon as possible. Pending my availability, I will set up a free, brief phone consultation with you (~15 minutes). I may also provide you with referrals and recommendations.
I respond to all inquiries made through my website first through email. If you do not receive an email from me, please check your spam folder. If I do not hear back from you, I might also give you a phone call to ensure that I got your inquiry.

Individual therapy sessions are about 50 minutes, couples therapy sessions are about 55-60 minutes, and group and family therapy sessions are 90 minutes long. Session frequency is either weekly or twice a week, depending on your needs.

This is an excellent question to ask yourself when seeking out a therapist. During our initial consultation, we will discuss if it feels like a “fit” between us. A “fit” here implies that you either already feel comfortable or trust that, over time, you will gradually feel comfortable opening up to me. Naturally, a therapy relationship can take some time to develop, but I work hard to adapt to the needs of each client. If it feels like I might know a better clinician for you or your presenting concerns, I will be happy to provide a referral.

Every couple has different communication patterns. However, if you and your partner find yourselves “stuck” in patterns of frustrating conflicts or leave conversations feeling unfulfilled, couples therapy might be helpful. A good rule of thumb: it is easier to start couples therapy before things reach a tipping point. I would be happy to help you figure out if now is a good time to start couples therapy.

A reduced fee based on household income and life situations may be offered on occasion. I reserve several spots in my schedule to offer these reduced fee appointments. When possible, I will work with you to find a way for therapy to be financially sustainable.
Currently, my reduced fee slots are full.

I am considered an “out-of-network” provider, which means that I do not work directly with insurance companies. However, I’ve found that many insurance companies will cover my services as an out-of-network provider either in full or in part. If you have a PPO or EPO, I can provide a “super bill” that you can submit to your insurance company for possible reimbursement.
A super bill is a detailed record of payment with special codes for what kind of service was provided along with my license number. You will need to pay for services at the time they are received and then seek reimbursement from your insurance provider afterwards.
Please check your coverage carefully by asking the following questions:
Do I have out-of-network mental health insurance benefits?
What is my out-of-network deductible and has it been met?
Once I hit my out-of-network deductible, what percentage will my insurance cover moving forward?
How many sessions per year does my health insurance cover?
Is any precertification required?
