About Dr. Mangino
Welcome! I am a Licensed Clinical Psychologist offering a range of therapeutic and consulting services.
I hold licenses in New Jersey, Pennsylvania, and through PSYPACT, which allows me to practice telepsychology nationwide within these approved states. I maintain a private practice just outside of Philadelphia in Collingswood, New Jersey and work with clients through both in-person and virtual teletherapy.
I received my doctorate in clinical psychology from Long Island University, an APA-accredited program, with concentrations in Family Systems and Serious Mental Illness. I completed an APA-accredited internship and postdoctoral fellowship at Temple University’s Tuttleman Counseling Services, after which I was hired as the Assistant Group Therapy Coordinator. I obtained additional postdoctoral training at a specialized couples therapy practice, Philadelphia Couples Therapy. Prior to these appointments, I trained at other well known institutions, such as Sheppard Pratt, Stony Brook University, and Hackensack University Medical Center.
Apart from my clinical training, I have presented at national and local conferences on topics related to relationship concerns, trauma, identity formation, and family systems. My doctoral research and dissertation centered around these topics as well; I completed a qualitative analysis of twins discordant for sexual orientation and the impact this had on family dynamics. I am energized by working with clients and families to unpack how different identities affect relational dynamics.
I continue to regularly provide consultation and supervision on couples therapy, family therapy, and group facilitation for individuals, universities, and companies looking to deepen their training in these areas.
